Simon has over 15 years experience in public mental health and wellbeing. Using humour and a discursive style, Simon enjoys exploring issues and drawing out learning to deepen understanding.
A specialist in bringing together the worlds of marketing, communications and mental health, Simon has led on a number of wide reaching, successful campaigns, including CALM and State of Mind in Rugby League, as well as commercial communications consultancy work for Ordnance Survey, Burrells Jewellers and Contexis. In addition, Simon was a key member of the Mental Health & Wellbeing national team at Public Health England and currently delivers consultancy work for the Mental Health Foundation.
Simon also brings a specialist interest in men’s mental health, specifically the importance of acknowledging and incorporating an understanding of how language and approaches can enable everyone in the workplace to manage their mental health more successfully.
